The House of Hope and other guests joined us Sunday, Sept. 25 for worship and a luncheon following services.
To aid non-Episcopalians in understanding the order of worship, each participant was given a service folder with the entire service, including prayers, scripture and hymns printed.
Communion, as always, was open to all.
A very enthusiastic rendition of Onward Christian Soldiers dismissed us to go out and love and serve the Lord.
Although the luncheon had been planned for outdoors, thunderstorms quickly changed our minds, and everyone found a place inside the building to enjoy the meal and fellowship.
Fried chicken was prepared by Randy Parten and side dishes were brought by parishioners.
It was a fun, spirit-filled day.
